Project CHENGETA is a young, community-driven initiative that began in 2021 as a family response to the challenges brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic. We initiated a modest backyard effort to promote food self-sufficiency and community resilience. However, much to the surprise of its Founder Sostain Moyo it has since evolved into a broader grassroots movement centered on cultural heritage, agroecology, and youth empowerment.
